Who We Are

The Learning Tree is a God-centered, relational environment, where your child can discover the world through exploration, interaction and investigation. Our teachers will nurture and guide toward “whole child” healthy development – social, emotional, physical and spiritual. We provide full-time care and offer half-day preschool.

The Learning Tree offers a half-day, school-year (September-May) preschool program with the option of both extended-day and year-round care. In the summer, we offer a series of half-day camps, while continuing the option of extended day. In 2020-21, our enrollment will be approximately 150 children – Infants to Traditional Kindergarten (TK). We are a North Carolina Licensed Facility.

As a ministry of Lake Forest Church, The Learning Tree welcomes a diverse community of families. Our mission is to reach families who need education and nurturing care for their preschool age child/children in a Christian environment. The Learning Tree offers discounts and/or scholarships for qualifying families.
